Been waiting a while to see if SW would ever get all the problems resolved with the Skystream. I would like to install one for a customer but I am still afraid of spending the rest of my life going back to keep it running. How about the sound? Reply to this

The Skystreams problems are getting better with the latest 2.02 inverter software, however, there are still serious hardware problems which will keep every Skystream dealer busy for years to come. The noise is and most likely, will remain the same as SWWP's electrical engineer, charged with rectifying the noise issue was let go a few weeks ago, and his ideas with him. Reply to this

I have had a Skystream since January 2009. Monthly output about 55 Kwh with 9 to 12 MPh wind average. In 11 month the highest output has been 11 and 12 KWh on two occasions, to my knowledge. Those were 20 + MPh windy day's. Still waiting to have it resolved after more than 2 month. Reply to this

I had my skystream installed on Nov.1 2009. Since then I have produced 133 kwh to this date, Jan.10, 2010. The turbine spins more often than not but yet I am not producing that much power. Is there anyone out there who could tell me what is wrong with this turbine? Nov. was not that windy here but Dec. and Jan. have been very windy! I contacted tech support and got a runaround and tried calling them several times after and get no answer. If you know what could be wrong please e-mail me at lak1643@hotmail.com Reply to this
